Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Arcade Hub handles information when you use the Arcade Hub Android application and its web edition (together, the “Service”).
Arcade Hub, an independent developer based in Romania (“we”, “us”).
Privacy and support contact: gamesarcadehub@gmail.com.
1. Information we handle
- Game data and preferences. The current version lets you enter a player name and stores game scores, wins, progress, and music or sound-effect preferences in local storage on your device. The current leaderboard is local to that device; it is not a shared online ranking.
- Technical request data. When the app or web edition loads, the hosting and delivery provider may process technical information such as IP address, request time, requested URL, browser or device information, and user-agent/referrer data in its server and security logs.
- Messages you send us. If you email support, we receive the email address and the information you include so we can answer you.
The current release does not ask you to connect a crypto wallet, does not request or store private keys or seed phrases, and does not include in-app purchases, advertising, or our own analytics. If those features are added, we will update this policy before they are used.
2. Why we use information and our legal grounds
- To operate the games and remember your selected name, scores, progress, and audio preferences on your device, where this storage is necessary for a feature you request.
- To maintain availability, protect the Service, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot technical problems. Our legal ground is our legitimate interest in operating and securing the Service, balanced against your rights.
- To respond to support messages. Our legal ground is taking steps to respond to your request and our legitimate interest in managing support.
- To meet legal obligations where applicable.
We do not use the information described here to make decisions about you solely by automated means that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
3. Local storage and clearing game data
Game names, scores, progress, and sound settings are stored locally by the app or browser on your device. They are not currently uploaded to an Arcade Hub account or shared leaderboard. You can remove locally stored information by clearing the app's storage or the browser/WebView data used for Arcade Hub; uninstalling the app may also remove it. The exact controls depend on your device.
4. Service providers and other services
The web edition is delivered through Netlify hosting. Netlify may process technical request data to deliver and secure the website under its own terms and privacy practices. See Netlify's Privacy Policy. We do not receive raw hosting access logs unless a feature or provider configuration makes them available to us.
If you install Arcade Hub through the Solana Mobile dApp Store, Solana Mobile handles information for its own store, installation, and account services under its own privacy policy. This policy does not cover those independent services. The current Arcade Hub release has no wallet connection or on-chain transaction feature.
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information to a service provider needed to operate the Service, when required by law, or to protect rights and safety.
5. International transfers
Our hosting or app-store providers may process technical information in countries outside your country of residence, including outside the European Economic Area. Where applicable, those providers are responsible for using the transfer mechanisms and safeguards required by law. Please consult their current privacy information for details.
6. How long information is kept
Locally stored game information remains on your device until you clear it or remove the app/browser data. We keep support correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to respond and maintain relevant records. Hosting-provider technical logs are retained according to that provider's current retention settings and policies.
7. Your rights
If the GDPR applies, you may have rights to request access, correction, erasure, restriction, or portability of personal data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. To exercise applicable rights, contact us at gamesarcadehub@gmail.com. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify your request and will respond within the period required by law.
You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Romania, this is the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP).
8. Children
Arcade Hub is a general-audience game service and is not directed to children below the minimum age permitted by applicable law to use the Service independently. A parent or guardian should supervise a minor's use where required by law. Please contact us if you believe a child has sent us personal information.
9. Security and changes
We use reasonable measures appropriate to the limited information handled by the current Service. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. We may update this policy when the Service or applicable requirements change; the effective date above will show the latest version.
10. Contact
